Cirrus SR22 N147GT

FreeFlight Aviation Cirrus SR22 N147GTN147GT  was acquired by the FreeFlight Group during 2004 and is an SR22 G2 model and has been a great addtion to the fleet, based at Denham.

The SR22 has a powerful 310HP engine and its modern aerodynamic shape enables it to perform exceptionally and it is faster than many similarly powered older aircraft. It has a fuel injected engine, an automatic variable pitch propeller and fixed undercarriage. A four seat aircraft, it can easily accommodate three people and luggage, or four people subject to fuel limitations.

It has state of the art instrumentation with a "glass" cockpit with an Avidyne Primary Flight Display (PFD) and an Avidyne  Multifunction display (MFD) with EMAX engine management system which displays mapping, GPS routing information, stormscope information and TCAS.  

A recent addition has been CMAX charting which enables instrument approach and airport charts to appear on the MFD.

The aircraft has been upgraded with DME to supplement GPS distance information and Mode-S transponder.
