N147KA arrives at Shoreham, September |

 In late September we went down to Shoreham to see the arrival of Freeflight Aviation's sixth aircraft, N174SR, a fully loaded SR22 GTS.
SR will shortly be re-registered N147KA in keeping with its home base of Shoreham (EGKA).
Three of SR's new owners were there to see her arrival and were joined by pilots flying N147VC and N147GT.
 Before very long a short local flight was in the offing and we took of towards Bembridge on the Isle of Wight with GT in loose formation to take photographs.
The following day, again with GT, a longer trip was planned to Perranporth in Cornwall. With intermittant IMC a lot of the way, SR acquitted herself in typical Cirrus style with the full glass cockpit providing incredible situational awareness. |
