What if we feel air sick? |

Lots of people are concerned about becoming air sick in a light aircraft. The truth is that very few people are and the worry normally goes away once the flight starts.
There are a couple of hints to avoid feeling sick: - Don't spend a long time looking inside the aircraft - try to look outside
- When looking outside, look at the horizon or scan the sky for other aircraft
If you do start to feel sick, tell the pilot! Say so when the feeling starts, not when it's passed the point of no return! There are a number of things we can do such as flying at a different height to reduce any bumps, returning to base, or diverting to another airfield (in southern England, we are likely to be within 10 minutes of an airfield all the time). If the worst comes to the worst, we carry air sickness bags!
